WhatsApp’s sticker game seems to be going strong. The instant messaging app’s sticker library has  not just grown in the recent times  but with the flexibility to create custom stickers has made communication even more interesting than before. Although making a custom sticker requires you to dedicate a bit more time, the easy way out is by using the pre-made stickers listed inside WhatsApp. You just need to download them. WhatsApp, in the past couple of weeks has rolled out a bunch of new features to help people amid the lockdown enforced in countries across the globe in light of the Covid-19 outbreak. The company, among other things, has also imposed  strict limitations on forwarded messages  in a bid to contain the spread of misinformation about the virus outbreak. Now, word is that   WhatsApp   is introducing new group calling limits on its Android and iOS based apps. Up until now, a group couldn’t have more than four participants. But now a new  report  by WABetaInfo suggests otherwise. On the company’s iOS-based app, this limit is being increased to accommodate eight participants. If there are more than eight participants in a group, WhatsApp will ask users, which participants they want to connect to. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 to be available in open sale on April 27

Xiaomi's budget phone Redmi Note 3 will be available for buying without any registration on April 27, the company has announced via Twitter. The Redmi Note 3 will be available in open sale on April 27 from 2PM on Xiaomi's official Mi.com/in online store. The Redmi Note 3 is available in two RAM/internal memory variants. Prices start at Rs 9,999 (2GB RAM/16GB memory) and go all the way up to Rs 11,999 (3GB RAM/32GB memory). Both the variants support expandable storage of up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Both the phones support dualSIM, 4G LTE and run Android Lollipop-based MIUI 7.   In terms of specifications set, the Redmi Note 3 comes with a 5.5-inch FullHD display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution. OnePlus X gets permanent price drop, now selling for less than Rs.15,000

OnePlus on Saturday announced a price cut on  OnePlus X  in India. The smartphone will now be available for  R s. 14,999, which is  R s. 2,000 less than its launch price, on the company's exclusive online partner Amazon India. The phone is available in three variants: Onyx, Champagne, and Ceramic. However, the price cut is applicable only for the lower-end Onyx version. The company announced the new prices on its  official Twitter handle  on Saturday morning. The OnePlus X smartphone comes with a 5-inch FullHD AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and 441ppi pixel density. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. Micromax to open its own online store by Diwali

Micromax is in the process of developing its own online store from where it will sell phones and other devices. The company executive, while unveiling the Canvas Spark 3,  hinted that the store could go live before Diwali. "We will be disappointed if we approach Diwali without having our own store. It is a case of having an exclusive product strategy for the online store," said Shubhojit Sen, chief marketing officer, Micromax. However, the company admitted that the whole idea of exclusive online store for Micromax products was in the early stages of planning. This could be to better compete with Xiaomi which has started selling products on its Mi Store. "Should we develop a range of accessories or preview our products online, I don't know," said Sen.
