Here's a list of islands around the world that have been picked as the best vacation spots, according to TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards.    The joy of watching the waves, breathing in the slightly salty air, eating fresh seafood and lounging on the beach is unmatched. Which is why you're probably already considering a getaway to an island for the summer. Lending a helping hand in that decision is travel planning and booking portal TripAdvisor, which recently named Hawaii's Maui as the best island in the world, as part of its Travellers' Choice Awards announcement.
