MHA allows Liquor shops to open
The Ministry of Home Affairs said that it would allow sale of alcohol in orange and green zones as part of its revised guidelines.
The MHA issued the revised guidelines as it extended lockdown in the country by two weeks. The
guidelines say that shops will have to enforce social distancing rules---six feet distance between any two people---and there should be no more than five people at a time at a shop. Also, such shops should not be located in markets and malls in urban areas.
This relaxation does not apply to red zones---areas government has classified as hotspots.
