Cannes 2015: Stars turn up the heat at amfAR Gala
Held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the 22nd edition of amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS Gala was sheer grandeur and gorgeousness. From Aishwarya turning into a lavender dream to Eva doing it dainty with lace, here's how your favourite stars decked up for the big night.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan owned the Elie Saab ensemble from the label's Spring 2014 Couture collection. Not a fan of matching eyeshadow but it seemed to work well on the actress with this particular creation. Good one, L'Oreal.
After eyeing the red carpet like a hawk, hungry for a sighting of Marchesa, singer Rita Ora finally delivered but it's fair to say that the look failed to hit the mark.
Neither the styling nor the hair worked for Rita who donned a piece from the label's Ready-To-Wear Fall 2015 collection, paired with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. While she kept the black sash from the ramp, she went for a more fitted silhouette than the one seen in the original design which ended up disturbing the ruffle detail in a sinister manner.

Paris Hilton wore a sheer lilac feathery dress which actually looked nice on the heiress. However, two things that killed the look were the shiny embellishments right in the middle of the gown and the heavy duty jewellery.
Doutzen Kroes looked outstanding in a Maison Martin Margiela gown. Just love the silhouette and the keyhole detail on the model.

When Diane Kruger walked in wearing a Chanel Pre-Fall 2015 look, she seemed like she had ended up at the wrong venue because that dress clearly had no place at the amfAR Gala. What's up, Diane?
Skipping Dior yet again, Marion Cotillard was seen sporting a Jean Paul Gaultier creation form the Spring 2015 Couture collection. Paired with jewellery from Chopard with side swept hair and a classic red lip, the look gave a lovely retro vibe.
Chanel Iman looked ethereal in a nude Zuhair Murad gown from the Spring 2015 Couture collection. Loved the simple styling and the hairdo paired with the dress.
The beauty of this dress is really in the individual little flower appliques that sit delicately on the end of the sleeves and the gown's hemline.
Eva Longoria worked a Georges Hobeika creation from the Spring 2015 Couture collection. Though it looks good on the actress, it falls short of stunning (something that's always expected from the Desperate Housewives star).
Kendall Jenner is definitely on an abs show-off spree. Wearing Calvin Klein Collection separates, the model looked gorgeous. Especially love the soft feel of the voluminous skirt.
Karlie Kloss shone in a Tom Ford diamante-encrusted creation. The large armholes of the dress showed off ample side-boob and the sultry make-up looked perfect on the model.
Doutzen Kroes looked outstanding in a Maison Martin Margiela gown. Just love the silhouette and the keyhole detail on the model.
Wearing a whimsically beautiful creation by Ulyana Sergeenko from the Spring 2015 Couture collection Dita von Teese looked amazing but it was the styling that marred the lovely ensemble.
Petra Nemcova looked beauteous in a one shouldered Versace gown. The colour made for a nice change and the styling was on point but the shoddy hemline was a bit of a downer.

Looking sexy in an Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2015 Couture gown, Adriana Lima's look was marred by bad make-up. It was actually difficult to recognize the model at one glance.
