Gabbar Is Back Box Office Report: Akshay gets 24.4cr in two days
Gabbar Is Back is creating waves at the Box Office, and the dry spell finally seems to be over this year. 2015 had opened with not-as-good grossers. But credit the Akshay Kumar charm to have taken Bollywood past all that this week. The first two days' collections of the film have arrived, and the figures are pretty impressive.
While on Friday, Gabbar Is Back had netted an amount of Rs.13.05 crores; on Saturday, the collections were Rs.11.35 crores. The opening Friday and Saturday have helped the film earn Rs.24.4 crores. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted out

Akshay Kumar's last outing at the Box Office was Baby, which had made a whopping 95 crores, stopping just short of entering the 100 crore club. As far as his latest release is concerned, despite largely mixed to negative reviews from critics, the film has fared quite well at the counters the first two days. The film is expected to do well in the coming days too, or so the trends indicate.
Directed by Krish, Gabbar Is Back is a re-make of the 2002 Tamil film Ramanaa, which was directed by AR Murugadoss. The Hindi version stars Shruti Haasan, Suman Talwar, Sunil Grover and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles, apart from the lead, Akshay.
